Anonymous asked: if i can't wax, what is the best way to remove dark, thick pubic hair without any ingrown hairs/ cuts on vagina?
You could shave, use a hair removal cream for sensitive skin/pubic area, or use an epilator (works well for some people but others get ingrown hairs with this as well).
When shaving, you can avoid ingrown hairs/cuts by first trimming your pubic hair to a short length. Then apply plenty of shaving cream (preferably for sensitive skin) to your pubic area (but be sure not to get it in your vulva since that could lead to irritation/infection) and use a very sharp, brand new razor. Carefully shave in the direction of hair growth and avoid over the same spot twice. After you shave, you can apply lotion (for sensitive skin) to soothe the skin. Keep in mind that even following these directions you may still get a couple ingrown hairs!
With hair removal creams, just be sure to do a spot test ahed of time to be sure you’re not allergic or will experience pain from the chemicals.
