kind of. I have an STI and am in a loving relationship. My partner also technically has an STI. He gets cold sores which is how I got genital herpes. Basically just being open, realizing that the person is no different from before when they didn’t have an STI, and all that is different is you need to use extra protection. There will always be a risk of you getting it, especially with herpes or HPV but if that’s a risk you’re okay with your relationship can be amazing. STIs in my experience don’t change too much.
